  If not, Navigate to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers. Open Adobe Installers folder and check whether Uninstall Acrobat icon is. I was able to correct the situation by uninstalling Acrobat X Pro via Programs and Features in Control Panel. Then I unselected the app in the Adobe CS6 Master. if the problem still persist, and the solution provided didn't work. Then you might need to use cleaner tool to uninstall the existing version. Use cleaner tool.
